Come hang out at Spread Art Detroit and enjoy a pre-Thanksgivng music experience featuring Al Bettis, Dani Darling and Marvin Thompson Jr. Sounds by DJ Boogsworld. Sets by these headlining artists will showcase elements of pop, jazz and soul while making you remember all the things you have to be thankful4.

This live music set features songs that told the story of the times. With artists from Nina Simone to the Staple Singers, Bob Dylan to The Five Stairsteps, this “message music” changed a generation. Hear the songs and feel the inspiration, with electrifying performances by Soul Deacon, Dani Darling, Shanta Scott and Marvin Thompson Jr.
A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to purchase books for local school classrooms.
