Louder Than is a cultural event that celebrates African-American songs and words that have brought us through the years. From the powerful words of Baldwin, to the haunting melodies of Simone, Louder Than stirs the soul and lifts the spirit. Performances feature the music of Marvin Thompson Jr.  and the Louder Than Artist Ensemble. 

Whatever is to come, our voices must be louder than hate, louder than fear, and louder than our past.
